Italy had to made the list, not just for the beautiful nature, culture, buildings, art and definitely the food.
Italy has many cities that are popular to travel to by everyone in the world. I think everyone knows at least one city in Italy. Have a look at my top 10 cities in Italy!
The UK has so much to offer. Good food, lovely people and the best accent in my opinion. The UK has mountains, beaches, culture, lakes and a lot of history. There are countless of places to visit, my favorite is 100% Brighton, since I lived there and I think it is such an amazing city. The UK consists of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
One of the countries that I visit super often. I think every city in Spain is so different and with so much culture and history. Let’s not forget the Balearic Islands; Ibiza, Mallorca, and the Canary Islands; Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Palma and La Gomera. Spanish food fuels the heart if it is up to me; paella, sangria, patatas bravas and much more.
Ever since I was a little kid we would spend the summer somewhere in France. I fell in love with the history, culture, food, and the nature. I would recommend the Ardèche for the summers and the French Alps for winter. Every year the Tour the France is held, which is a major cycling race throughout France.
Croatia is rich of its beautiful nature and culture. I would love to go on a road trip through Croatia to see more of the country. Croatia is a very popular country to spend the summer in Europe. I love Split and the capital city Zagreb. Croatia is located at the Adriatic Sea. The country borders with Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
Portugal is such an amazing country. It has beautiful nature and cities; Port, Lisbon, Albufeira and many more. I would recommend a road trip through the country because there is to much to see and you don’t want to miss out!
Germany has so much history and so many castles! I love how different each city is and how kind and welcoming Germans are. One of the best perks is almost everyone speaks basic English if not fluent. Germany has some fun festivities such as October Fest. Due to the rich history in Germany, you can still see differences between west and east Germany. Berlin has a lot of historic sceneries, which I would recommend to visit and learn about the Second World War.
Not only did Sweden gifted us with ABBA they have beautiful nature. Sweden has a very rich history, with vikings and more. I’ve been to Stockholm and would love to see even more of this beautiful country. It is super safe to travel here for solo (female) travelers but it is quite expensive.
Norway is famous for its fjords, and nature and friendly people. The glaciers, mountains, and waterfalls show raw and sublime power. Norway has a handful of natural wonders such as the northern lights, midnight sun, the fjords and the national parks. Norway is quite expensive to visit but worth every penny.
Greece the country of the many islands. Greece is known for its rich history and delicious food. Greece consists of more than 2.000 islands, only 227 are inhabited. The most visited islands of Greece are Santorini, Mikonos, Crete, Zakynthos, Corfu, Rhodos, Kos and Lesbos. The mainland of Greece is bordering Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
